Thank goodness for the kindness of strangers because not only does kindness create happy endings, but kindness also leads to forever homes. This heartwarming video tracks the journey of an abandoned puppy at the supermarket, and she receives a heartwarming rescue. The video opens onto a dirty sidewalk by a store and at the center of the scene was a small, tattered cardboard box. Inside it lays a tiny puppy who is whining for help and crying for her mama. It’s obvious the puppy was too young to be taken from its mother. It’s apparent that whoever left the puppy at the market cared because they left her on a busy corner in a box with food and water. You can see people passing by as the puppy cries for help. Her cries go mostly unnoticed and unheard until one stranger has compassion on her and rescues her. A man from Takis Shelter sees her and brings her home. At first, she is relieved at his touch and love as she melts into his lap, exhausted from her plight. The stranger becomes her foster dad and names her Ozzy. Little miss Ozzy is sad and confused. She misses her mama and her littermates. But as the days pass, her foster dad showers her with love, affection, attention, and gives her all the best comforts of a loving home. Slowly, this precious little girl comes to life as she learns to play with her foster brother. But then the day comes when Ozzy meets her forever mama. You wouldn’t believe her luck. Ozzy gets adopted by a mom who not only provides a stable, loving, forever home but little Miss Ozzy gets siblings! And I do mean lots of siblings. Not only did Ozzy find her forever home but her story went viral—reminding viewers to have compassion on animals, abandoned and living on the streets. So far, her story has received over 1.2 million views. And what an incredible ending. May we all remember we are adopted by our heavenly father and we have a forever home! “Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another, be compassionate and humble.” 1 Peter 3:8

Young people can sometimes amaze us when they have mature talent. In this video, a 17-Year-Old sings an emotional rendition of “I Will Always Love You.” In this heartfelt video, a young woman in her recording studio sings a moving rendition of “I Will Always Love You.” Lucy Thomas is a 17-year-old singer from Wigan, Lancashire in England. Her strong voice and popping blue eyes tell the story of this classic hit. She starts singing with intensity and confidence in her voice and has beautiful posture. Throughout the song, she performs in the studio while singing. At the end of the clip, Lucy belts out the final portion of the melody with great passion. She adorably finishes with a grin on her face, proud of her performance. Lucy already began her career when she was a Semi-Finalist on "The Voice Kids" in 2018. She has gone viral in this video with hundreds of thousands of views. “I Will Always Love You” was originally written by Dolly Parton and notably performed by Whitney Houston, too. “And I will always love you I will always love you” This young woman reminds us of faithfulness in the lyrics of this song. Although the singer is leaving her love, she says that her love will always remain. Maybe you have had to move away from friends or family? Remember that love is greater than the distance between us, we can pray for others and thankfully reach out through modern-day technology. God has always been faithful to us, and through His example, we can now be faithful to others. 1 Corinthians 1:9 says “God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

Darci Claire got the experience of a lifetime. Luke Bryan surprises a 7-year-old fan and brings her on stage, and she knows every word! Darci has been a big fan of Luke Bryan for quite a while so when Luke launched his tour which included going through her hometown in Virginia, Darci’s parents bought front row tickets. In this video, you can see Darci mesmerized and crooning right along with Luke to his song, “Waves” when she catches his attention. Luke realizes she is his biggest little fan as she knows every note and every word. As they both finish singing the song, Luke cracks a big grin and does something no one expects. He tells her, “That was awesome. Come on up here!” He invites her onto the stage. Holding her in a fatherly embrace, he asks her if she knows the words to his number one country hit, “Down To One.” “You knew every word, do you know this one?” Luke asked Darci as the music began for “Down To One.” Of course, she knows every word. She’s even wearing a yellow “Country Girl” T-shirt and boots which is a nod to another big country hit by Luke! In front of thousands of fans, the pair sing the next song together. Darci’s sweet little spirit and enthusiasm of being on stage with Luke steals the show. She not only knows the words she gets her groove on as she dances and snaps her fingers. Who knew a sweet, seven-year-old little girl would get the opportunity of a lifetime—to sing on stage with her favorite superstar! I’m sure God was smiling at this pair too. Luke not only showed kindness, but he also gave this sweet little girl a gift she will forever remember. She fell in love with a man in a wheelchair which meant she never saw this coming. Josh Smith, a paralyzed man uses technology to get down on one knee and propose! This video is what romance movies are made of! The pair, Grace Thompson and Josh met on a dating app in the middle of the pandemic. Over time, they got to truly know one another, and they fell in love. Josh has been a C-6 quadriplegic, unable to walk since the age of 23 after a terrible swimming accident left him paralyzed. Even though it was a devastating blow, Josh was able to pick up the pieces to his life. He went back to work and even began inventing products for quadriplegics like himself. But what he didn’t expect was for a woman to date him, to love him, or marry him. God brought Grace into Josh’s life and just the right time. It gave Josh the courage and confidence to pursue a relationship with her. He quickly realized she is the “one whom his soul loves.” And he wanted nothing more than to give her the proposal of her dreams—down on one knee. So, with a little planning and help from his physical therapists, they helped Josh find an exoskeleton suit! This special suit looks like it came right out of Iron Man’s wardrobe, but it’s actually made for quadriplegics. And this is where this video turns into one of the romantic proposals of all time. The suit helped Josh get out of his wheelchair so he could get down on one knee. As Grace walks around the corner, she realizes what is happening when she cries out, “Are you serious.” Of course, Josh is serious! He’s down on one knee. He responds, “Dead serious. You are the most amazing thing in my life. I'm so glad that God brought you into my life. You are the most perfect person for me." Of course Grace said yes! The happy couple are now planning a wedding for next fall and it makes us all wonder what surprises he may be planning to make their wedding day another day they won’t soon forget! “No sooner did I depart from them than I found the one whom I love with all my heart. Stop and take a moment to appreciate the spectacular moment of the Brahma Kamal flower in bloom-- an occurrence that happens only once a year. In this video, a time lapse captures a rare plant blooming. Ragini Ramchandani captured the Brahma Kamal on film when it bloomed in her house in Dorset, Somerset, England. She was given the ability to plant her own when her great aunt in Mangalore, India gave her a piece of the plant to start. At the beginning of the video you see the intricate white flower begin to move and twist, opening up by the evening into full bloom. Each layer of the plant then folds up back into its enclosed shape. It really is breath-taking. At first glance, you might think this is a nice video of a flower, but when you learn more about the rarity to see this flower bloom, it creates a newfound appreciation for this video clip. Shivangi Karn from Bold Sky shares, “Brahma Kamal or Brahma Kamalam is an endemic and rare flowering plant species that is mainly found in the Indian Himalayan regions. The flower is also known as the 'king of Himalayan flowers'. It resembles a star and is pure white but the smell is not delightful.” The Bible reminds us that God takes care of the flowers, so how much more will he take care of us? We have such a strong hope that we are in the Father’s hands. May this video be a reminder that we do not need to worry because we are taken care of by our loving God. “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? And why do you worry about clothes? Consider how the lilies of the field grow: They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was adorned like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the furnace, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?" Matthew 6:27-30

It’s a wonderfully positive and creative singer who uses online hate comments to create an original song for her AGT Audition. That positive, creative singer is Madilyn Bailey, and she demonstrates how a musician and social media celebrity makes lemonade out of lemons. Madilyn comes before the judges wearing yellow animal-print pants and black sneakers, and her brightly-colored guitar hangs from her neck. She greets the judges, and Howie addresses Madilyn first. Madilyn gives her name and tells the judges that she comes from a tiny Wisconsin town where cows outnumber humans. She is probably not exaggerating. Madilyn’s hometown of Boyceville, Wisconsin, had a population of 1,086 in the 2010 census! When Howie asks, Madilyn shares that her dream is to write and sing songs, and to share those songs with as many folks as she can. Simon offers an approving nod. And, Madilyn goes on to tell the judges that the song she’ll perform is a copulation of nasty comments and harsh criticisms she’s received on her YouTube videos. Simon thinks it’s a good idea, and Howie suggests that Madilyn is going to take ugliness and make beauty from it. Madilyn’s song is fast with a good beat and is built entirely of the hate speech sent her way by online “trolls.” We see the actual messages popping onto the screen as they are turned into song lyrics, and Madilyn sways from side-to-side belting out the abuse sent her way via the internet. Lines include: “they hauled this song away in a body bag,” “ear murder,” “eat a burger,” “you can’t sing,” “she’s so overrated,” “totally lame,” “don’t try so hard,”and “leave earth.” Wow! That’s a lot of venom directed at a person! It is hard to understand viewers posting such rude comments aimed at a person just trying to entertain, but it may be harder still to comprehend that same entertainer receiving those comments and using them in a song she will perform. Madilyn demonstrates resilience, confidence, spunk, and a sense of humor by doing that very thing. Good for her! Madilyn’s feisty fight-back caused Howie to laugh out loud, and Simon called the song clever. Don’t you go anywhere, Ms. Madilyn! “Anyone who claims to be in the light but hates a brother or sister is still in the darkness.” 1 John 2:9

Check out this incredible story of a Cracker Barrel waitress who jumped a barbed wire fence to help a screaming mom on the side of the highway. “About a year ago, in July, I was following a server to a table with a tray,” says Ashton, who is the hero of this story. “She was passing out the first tray and I was looking out the front window facing the interstate. I could see a lady pull off to the side at the exit.” That’s when Ashton first sees Agnes, the woman who stopped in the road begging for help. “She was screaming for help. And I went running for the fence and got to the top. A couple was standing right there, and I told them to just push me over because of the barbed wire at the top,” shares Ashton. “Agnes, the mother, was running around the car, frantic, telling me her son was in the car and he was sick and not breathing. We unbuckled him and got him out on the ground, and I started compressions. I remember all I kept thinking was ‘Oh my goodness, I hope this works.’” Next thing Ashton knew, the woman’s son started breathing. “It was a long time, says Agnes. “Paul took a breath, like, he gasped.” What a relief! And Agnes was extremely grateful and in disbelief. “Who would risk her life, in the midst of COVID, to come help you with your child that’s dying?” she says. Then an ambulance arrived and took Agnes’s son, Paul, to the hospital. Because Agnes was from out of town, Ashton wanted to help her get to the hospital where they were taking her son. “She didn’t know where she was going. I offered to drive her, but she said no,” shares Ashton. “I put the GPS in her phone, and I hopped back over the fence and went back to work.” After Paul was released from the hospital, Agnes drove the two of them over to the Cracker Barrel to go see Ashton. “And we all just cried. We just cried the whole time,” Agnes shares. “If it wasn’t for Cracker Barrel at that location with Ashton, I wouldn’t have my son. Not a day passes by that I don’t think about Ashton and what happened.” “I mean, I would hope that someone would do that for my child,” says Ashton. “It’s what we’re supposed to do, right?” What an incredible story! Ashton and Agnes embrace at the end of the video, and Agnes goes on to say that Ashton is her angel. God had Ashton in the right place at the right time, because thanks to her, Paul is still alive today.

Check out this captivating dance audition on America’s Got Talent that ends with an unexpecting surprise! The man auditioning in this clip is named Pasha, and he is originally from Moscow, Russia. “I’m an entertainer but would like to invest in real estate, just in case,” Pasha tells the judges before his audition and the crowd starts to laugh. He goes on to talk about how he usually performs with his wife but is unable to tonight. “My wife and I, we perform together,” Pasha shares. “Unfortunately, she couldn’t be here tonight. She missed her flight.” The judges look worried and ask him if he has ever done this act before solo, to which he tells them that he has not. But the show must go on! Then Pasha goes off stage, and when he comes back on, there is a life-sized version of his wife dancing with him. It is quite the spectacle, and you can tell that the judges are trying to figure out just how Pasha is pulling this off. At the end of the dance, Pasha pops up and it is revealed that he was folded in half, using his legs for the bottom half of his puppet and his arms for the bottom half of his wife’s puppet. What a unique and talented act! “It’s the best act of the night,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “This is theatre, acrobatics, puppetry, dancing, and magic all rolled into one and done flawlessly.” “This is truly the most unique performance in the history of AGT!” writes another person online. “It's breathtaking, spellbinding, and, until the final seconds when Pasha revealed himself, viewers are totally clueless as to what is happening!” This mind-boggling act impressed everyone and is sure not to be forgotten anytime soon!

Watch ‘The Jungle Book’ come alive as this grizzly bear scratches its back on a pole. He’s definitely having a good time! Remember the lovable Baloo from the classic Disney movie, ‘The Jungle Book?’ We probably all do! Well, this goofy grizzly channels his lighthearted personality. Although I still wouldn’t recommend interacting with him let alone dancing together. This bear’s party for one surely seems good enough for him. Just look at him scratch away! He’s reaching those itches he hasn’t been able to get to for quite some time. After all, back scratches for bears don’t exist, at least since I last checked. Apparently, this video of the bear graced the internet long before someone added ‘The Bare Necessities’ to it. And somehow, someone managed to make an adorable clip even cuter. ‘The Jungle Book’ originally came out in 1967 if you can believe it. Even if people somehow managed to get through life without seeing it yet, they probably recognize a few of the songs. So this fun video of a bear just living his life and scratching his back can probably make just about anyone smile! Look at the guy back up and get into position - he knows what he’s doing! With the perfect song playing, this grizzly bear just looks like he’s having the best time with his dance party for one. I could watch this all day! Joy can be found in the silliest places and from the silliest people OR animals. Just remember to keep an eye out for little reasons to smile. Then I commended mirth, because a man has no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labor the days of his life, which God gives him under the sun. A heroic New York cop comes to the rescue when he catches a family jumping from the second story of their burning home. Officer Mark Conklin of the Jamestown Police Department found out about a nearby fire when he was answering a service call while he was on duty. He didn’t have on any heat protection but ran straight to the fire to see how he could help. His bodycam footage shows Officer Conklin race to the scene of the house where it was engulfed in flames. What a terrifying sight! In the house was an adult and children trapped inside. Officer Conklin encouraged the family trapped in the burning house to jump. He successfully caught them, saving their lives. What a true hero! The house that caught on fire belonged to the Rivera family. Hector and Brooke Rivera are husband and wife and have four children between the ages of 3 and 12. Their house was completely destroyed, and they lost everything in it. But at least they didn’t lose each other, thanks to Officer Conklin. In order to help out the family, the Jamestown Police Department set up a GoFundMe page for the family to help raise money for them to get back on their feet. This heroic act by Officer Conklin shows us what protect and serve really means. Without a second thought, he jumped right in to save this family and did exactly what he was trained to do. Tim Jackson, the Jamestown Police Chief, said Officer Conklin’s actions were one of the most outstanding examples of bravery, heroism, and exemplary service he has ever seen. May God continue to look out for Officer Conklin as he protects and serves his community. And may God watch over the Rivera family as they recover from this traumatic event of losing their home.
