Tween Violinist Performs Frank Sinatra's 'My Way' On Street Corner

A tween violinist performs Frank Sinatra’s ‘My Way’ standing on a street corner. And the moment is nothing short of magical! Most six-year-olds can be found playing with toys or coloring. But Karolina Protsenko picked up a violin instead. By the time she was ten, she aced every musical note and now she is well known worldwide as a violin prodigy. But what has people flocking to the internet is her latest tune of ‘My Way’ by Frank Sinatra, garnering more than 350,000 views! Dressed in a pink t-shirt and blue jeans, her body sways to the musical notes and one can almost hear Frank singing in tune. This 11-year-old musician charms every listener within hearing distance of her violin. Busking on the streets of Santa Monica, California she does renditions of pop songs like, Believer by Imagine Dragons to Hallelujah by Lenoard Cohen. With over 4.2 million subscribers, she is blessed with a rare gift to bring joy through her music. Born in the Ukraine, her parents brought her to the United States in 2015 so she could be classically trained in the violin. She then began busking in 2017 on the streets of California where she not only captivated audiences with her music but even garnered attention of The Ellen Show. When Ellen asked Karolina if she liked performing in the streets, she giggled with a resounding, “Yes.” Karolina also appreciates the generosity she has been shown and is saving up all her money for college and a puppy! Fans have left posts on her Facebook page thanking her for sharing her gift with the world. While one writes, “Hats off to your music, and the grace with which your legs synchronise with the tune. A treat to watch," yet another posted, "You are a very talented young girl. I really love this song. You are truly GOD’S own child. What magical talent you have. Fantastic performance as usual." A third wrote, "Every day you surprise me, I admire your talent so much, you are the best violinist in the world." She practices her violin two to three hours a day and learns pop songs by ear. She played more than 200 cover songs in the past year and it’s no wonder why she does it. She truly embodies the God given gift of music. What do you think of this young prodigy and her version of Frank’s, My Way? Praise the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary, praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Psalm 150:1-5.

Young Contestant On The Voice Sounds Just Like Frank Sinatra

A young contestant on The Voice of Holland sounds just like Frank Sinatra. You’ve just got to hear him to believe it! The popular TV show The Voice, isn’t just a hit in the US! The show is popular in many countries, including Holland. The format of The Voice in America is this - contestants sing for a panel of judges. To help eliminate any bias from the judges based on physical appearance, the contests are held “blindly” where the judges cannot see who is performing. Judges and contestants are in the same stage area, but judges sit in tall chairs with their backs facing the singer. Without the nervousness of being watched or prematurely judged, singers give their all in brief performances. The Voice of Holland appears to have the same format. But instead of American celebrities, there are four popular Dutch musicians gracing the tall seats. The show which has aired since 2010 attracts big audiences in the Netherlands. One of the contestants, Dennis van Aarssen gave the judges, and viewers, a performance to remember. His voice sounds absolutely amazing as he sings the tune of Frank Sinatra’s “That’s Life”. Dare I say, this young man sounds just like Frank Sinatra. Barely into his performance one judge immediately mashes his button, signalling his approval of the singer. He even stands up and starts singing along with the contestant. (Is that allowed?) The fellow judges laugh. Then one by one the other judges follow suit. They laugh and enjoy the music. Only one judge remained with her back to Dennis for as long as she could. Then she too succumbed to the wonderful melodies he strung together. She sat stubbornly in her seat, smiling, avoiding eye-contact with the camera. She knew she liked what she heard. She played hard to convince, but the truth reigned in the end. Dennis has an amazing voice. To Dennis’ credit, his focus and powerful singing was unaffected by the judges. He sang like he owned the show from beginning to end.

Dad And Kids Performs 'All You Need Is Love'

Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids are back for another performance from home with ‘All You Need Is Love.’ And this classic Beatles song is just the reminder we all need right now. “Nothing you can make that can't be made No one you can save that can't be saved Nothing you can do, but you can learn how to be you in time It's easy” Colt Clark is a musician and father of three from Tampa, Florida. He normally makes his money through music, but when shelter-at-home orders were given during the COVID-19 health crisis, it meant Colt was out of work. Rather than focus on the negative, Colt saw a unique opportunity for his entire family. That’s when Colt gathered his three kids, Cash, Beckett, and Bellamy and decided to start a band. Even their mom is a part of the group as the videographer and photographer for the band. For weeks, the talented family has been releasing classic covers and uplifting songs to bring joy during quarantine. They’ve covered everything from Elvis to Disney and now they’re taking on a true classic with ‘All You Need Is Love’ by The Beatles. “All you need is love All you need is love All you need is love, love Love is all you need” During these difficult times, it’s always important to remember that love and kindness should lead the way. These lyrics are the perfect anthem this season and I’m so happy to see this talented family belting out the words for the whole world to hear.

'Fire And Rain' A Cappella James Taylor Cover From Peter Hollens And Tim Foust

In this great a cappella video, Peter Hollens and Tim Foust cover the James Taylor song ‘Fire And Rain.’ “Just yesterday morning they let me know you were gone Susanne the plans they made put an end to you I walked out this morning and I wrote down this song, I just can't remember who to send it to I've seen fire and I've seen rain, I've seen sunny days that I thought would never end I've seen lonely times when I could not find a friend, but I always thought that I'd see you again” “Is this the most Iconic James Taylor Song?” Peter Hollens asks on his YouTube page. What an amazing cover! Peter and Tim’s voices go together so perfectly! “A brilliant collab from Peter Hollens and Tim Foust,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the video. “It reminds me about when we think of people or times we have lost. It’s good to think of happy times, it helps us to push onwards and upwards. It shows love and respect to those we have lost and helps us build a brighter future for ourselves (hopefully).” “I grew up hearing James Taylor instead of lullabies, so his songs hold a really special place for me,” writes another person on YouTube. “Thanks so much for making this -- it's just the song I needed right now, to remind me that things are gonna be okay.” Tim Foust is part of the a cappella group Home Free, which is the group that competed and won in the fourth season of The Sing-Off on NBC in 2013. The members of the group are Austin Brown, Rob Lundquist, Adam Rupp, Tim Foust, and Adam Chance. Peter Hollens is a classically trained vocal artist who specializes in a cappella music on YouTube and Facebook. He has collaborated with amazing artists, including Brian Wilson, Jason Mraz, Hunter Hayes, Lindsey Stirling, George Watsky, and The Piano Guys. He co-founded the University of Oregon’s male a cappella group On The Rocks. Then in 2010, Peter was featured on NBC’s The Sing Off. We hope you enjoyed this cover of ‘Fire And Rain’ by these two talented individuals!

Happy Saturday! I hope you’re having a great day,” Chevel starts off at the beginning of her YouTube video. “Thank you guys so much for tuning in, it really means a lot. A lot of you guys requested this song…a lot of you wanted me to do a Dolly song. A lot of people don’t know that this was actually written by Dolly. Whitney Houston did a phenomenal version of it. Candace Cameron Bure On Faith During The Pandemic

Anytime our comfort is challenged can sometimes test our faith. The pandemic has impacted everyone’s life in some way. However, suffering can be an opportunity to grow our faith as we depend more on God. Christian actress, producer, and author, Candace Cameron Bure, shared her thoughts on faith during the pandemic. She spoke openly about her faith with the viewers of ABC News watching from their homes. “During the pandemic, I cannot imagine not having faith. The Bible is the source of truth I go to especially when I’m anxious and when I’m worrying.” Like all believers, Candace has her internal struggles with worrying and thinking too much on what she cannot control in life. When the thoughts overwhelm her she knows just where to go for insight. Candace cited Matthew 6:26-27 as one of her go-to scriptures during these difficult times. “Consider the birds of the sky: They don’t sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you worth more than they? Can any of you add one moment to his life span by worrying?” -Matthew 6:26-27 She says that she can rest assured that the “Creator of the Universe” is looking out for her. Candace allows scripture to ease her own worrisome thoughts, and likewise, uses her same revelations to encourage other people in her life. Candace has used her religion for direction in her work within Hollywood, sticking with entertainment that is strictly family-friendly. “I think my faith is a big reason why I co-hosted The View for two years as well,” she added. She has been successful at standing by her Christian values starting with Full House back in her childhood years through projects she is involved in today. “My faith is not something that stays at home when I go out for work. It follows me everywhere I go,” Candace said with a confident smile. She went on to mention that she has not had her faith shaken, but has questioned God. In various times of her life she has asked, “Why?” And so have many Christians, as we all have attempted to understand the mysteriousness of God. Even without answers to some of her questions, she has maintained her faith throughout life, growing her belief with time. Candace recently became Chief Spiritual Officer for Woman’s Day Magazine, directly combining her faith and work. One of the biggest takeaways from the interview was how Candace talked about putting on love in the morning, referencing Colossians 3. She thinks of putting on love much like she does her clothes or make-up, knowing that will affect how she “communicates with everyone [she] interacts with.” Her faithful example is very inspirational during these difficult times. She is a reminder that though we are very much not in control, God is. Though we may have anxieties, God can take each and every one of those worries away. If we can be like Candace, acknowledging God for who He is, reading His word, praying, keeping the faith, we can allow Him to work in our lives. There is no reason to despair, and plenty of reason to hope.

Security Camera Captures Angel Flying Over Congregation

Something incredible happened in the skies above the church Vineyard Anaheim in Anaheim, California. A security camera captured an angel flying over the congregation. Bill Herman, the church’s security director commented the following: "I was monitoring the video feed on the night of the service where this wonderful phenomenon happened. I'm a retired law enforcement person of 37 years, and I'm a grounded realist but a staunch believer in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. When I saw the angel swoop across my screen, I replayed it numerous times to find a rational explanation. I also checked other video cameras to see if a car passed by our church glass doors to determine that it was a reflection of headlights, and no car passed by. After eliminating all possibilities that I could think of, I asked others around me to give me their thoughts. Overall, the many who reviewed it felt it was a real manifestation and for what reasons to manifest itself in this way at this time, well only God knows to be perfectly honest." As the worshippers stood in the congregation, some with arms spread for God’s embrace, the band stood on stage delivering their own form of worship. That is when the strange phenomenon occurred. Swosh. Very quickly, an image that appears to be an angel zooms through the camera feed above the congregation. The poor quality of the video makes distinguishing color and shape difficult, but the image’s outline does resemble a little body with wings. Could this be an angel sighting? The video is definitely fascinating to watch! Sometimes we see things and don’t have rational explanations. But faith isn’t about having all the answers. Sometimes it’s OK to not know and just remain in awe of the wonders of our God and the mysteries in His kingdom!
