Jennifer Hudson Performs Live Rendition Of 'Hallelujah'

Grammy award-winning artist Jennifer Hudson performs an awe-inspiring rendition of the hit song ‘Hallelujah.’ Leonard Cohen’s rendition of ‘Hallelujah’ is one of the most popular songs of all time. The powerful song was originally released in 1984, but it wasn’t until Jeff Buckley released the song on his 1994 album, ‘Grace’ that the song really started to gain momentum. Since that time, it’s become a worldwide phenomenon and cementing itself in music history. Over the years, many artists have covered this powerful song, which sounds like a perfect blend of a rock ballad and a gospel song. Some notable covers include Bon Jovi, Pentatonix and Susan Boyle. Today, powerhouse vocalist Jennifer Hudson is putting her own spin on ‘Hallelujah’ and it’s absolutely incredible. We first met Jennifer when she appeared as a contestant on the third season of American Idol. She may not have won the competition but that clearly did not stop her from becoming a Hollywood legend. Jennifer went on to appear in hit films such as Dreamgirls, release multiple chart-climbing albums and she even received a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame. Today, she’s at the Global Citizen Prize award ceremony for a special performance of ‘Hallelujah.’ Just listen as she stands on stage and belts out these iconic lyrics. The whole crowd is on their feet as she hits every single note perfectly. This is not an easy song to sing but Jennifer makes it look so easy. This is definitely one rendition of ‘Hallelujah’ that you will want to hear again.

16-Year-Old Freezes During Audition But Returns With Whitney Houston Ballad

During an audition on The X Factor, a 16-year-old freezes up while singing a Whitney Houston ballad. But she regains her confidence and returns to sing the song while impressing the judges and audience. Before the audition starts, Tamera Foster is seen sitting with her family. “I have never seen that many people in my life,” she says. “Just pretend they’re not there. Just sing like you’re at home,” her mother says as she tries to ease her nerves. “The only performances I’ve ever done are in school assemblies,” Tamera explains. “I think the maximum that I’ve performed in front of is 40 people.” It’s clear that Tamera is nervous, and who wouldn’t be? Singing in front of all those people including the judges would be an intimidating experience to say the least. Once Tamera is on stage, she starts singing ‘I Have Nothing’ by Whitney Houston. She only gets about five words of the song out before she freezes up. The audience is cheering her on, and one of the judges motion for her to continue. But Tamera just cannot seem to get another note out. Her family starts shouting words of encouragement from off stage in hopes that Tamera will continue with the song. “Can I have two seconds please?,” she asks the judges. The judges realize that Tamera has forgotten the words to the song. In order to save her audition, she quickly goes off stage to ask her family to help refresh her on the lyrics. After talking with her family, she gets back on stage, clearly shaken by what has just happened, but knows that the show must go on! She proceeds with her audition and starts the song from the top. Although she misses a few words throughout the song, she keeps pushing through. Tamera eventually ends up gaining her confidence again and blows everyone away with the rest of the audition. Once the audition was over, the judges had some words to share. “Tamera, it was by no means perfect, but what we see here right now is potential beyond belief,” shares one of the judges. “That was captivating and mesmerizing.” All of the judges end up saying yes to her, and Tamera runs off stage to celebrate the victory with an embrace from her family.

Husband And Wife 'Let It Go / Into The Unknown' Mashup With Rise Up Children's Choir

In this epic cover, a husband and wife duo sing a mashup of ‘Let It Go’ and ‘Into The Unknown’ with the Rise Up Children’s Choir. This entertaining video shows the choir of kids dancing around in matching costumes, with many of the girls wearing braids in their hair like Elsa from Frozen. Their talented voices are also highlighted in this creative mashup that is so fun to watch. There are even some aerial shots in the music video that show the children dancing on a fountain from a bird’s eye view. The children and adults looked like they had an equally fun time making this video as they can be seen having a great time running around a park called Evermore. Located in Pleasant Grove, Utah, Evermore is an “experience park where guests of all ages can escape to a new realm. The park is built like a European Village with a twist of fantasy with its own buildings, citizens, and epic story.” The husband and wife singing in the video are Scott and Ryceejo Shattuck. They have their own YouTube page and make “fun, family-friendly music that people of all ages enjoy.” The two love to focus on a cappella covers, especially mashups of Disney songs. Scott and Ryceejo record, edit, and produce all of their own music. Scott also sang a cappella in college and has worked with many artists, including Ben Bram from Pentatonix. It is clear that they are both very talented singers, and listening to Scott hit those incredibly high notes in this video will leave you very impressed! As for the Rise Up Children’s Choir, it was founded in 2019 by Amy Oakeson and Suzy Oliveira. The group is “a brand-new, Utah-based children's choir that is comprised of children ages 6 to 18 with advanced musical training.” Scott and Ryceejo Shattuck are the musical directors of the children’s choir.

2 Sisters Sing Dolly Parton Classic 'Coat Of Many Colors'

The talented siblings of The Detty Sisters perform a beautiful rendition of ‘Coat Of Many Colors’ from Dolly Parton. This classic country song became a hit for Dolly back in 1968. It spoke about a treasured coat that a girl’s mother sewed for her out of scrap pieces. Even though the coat may look funny to some people, it was a priceless gift to this young girl. “As she sewed, she told a story From the Bible, she had read About a coat of many colors Joseph wore and then she said Perhaps this coat will bring you Good luck and happiness And I just couldn't wait to wear it And momma blessed it with a kiss” The Detty Sisters are comprised of four country cuties from southern Ohio. Peyton, Cadie, Lily and Sophia have all been singing worship songs since a very young age. Both Peyton and Cadie would sing in church and it eventually transformed into playing other venues. The sibling group even released an album. Today, the sisters are lending their voices to the iconic Dolly Parton song ‘Coat Of Many Colors.’ “My coat of many colors That my momma made for me Made only from rags But I wore it so proudly Although we had no money I was rich as I could be In my coat of many colors My momma made for me” This song holds a special place for The Detty Sisters. They posted on YouTube about the importance behind the message in the song. “Although we may not all be rich, we have the opportunity to be rich in love with Jesus in our hearts. We hope this song blesses you as much as it did us to record it.”

Judge Judy Reunites Dog With Rightful Owner During Emotional Case

Judge Judy solves a heartbreaking case by letting a dog inside the courtroom. Judge Judy Sheindlin has been gracing the television sets of millions of Americans for over 20 years. In fact, her show is the highest rated courtroom program on television. Judge Judy has won multiple Emmy awards and continues to keep the public invested in each case. For the past 2 decades, Judge Judy has become famous for her stern "no-excuses" attitude, divisive decisions, and harsh criticism. But despite her television persona, she continues to win over the hearts of Americans year after year. One of the reasons we love Judge Judy so much is that she is not afraid to be bold and unconventional with her decisions. Take this particular court case that involves two dog owners claiming that their dog was stolen and then resold. The new owner refused to return the dog to the original owners, resulting in a conflict over who the true owner was. While both parties came to the courtroom with documents and evidence, Judge Judy decided to use a completely different approach. She asked that the dog be brought into the courtroom. Then, she instructs the handler to put the dog down and let him find his owner. The dog immediately runs to the man and he breaks down in tears over this incredible reunion. He is finally able to hold ‘Baby Boy’ again and it’s obvious that these two have a long history together. Sometimes, it’s the simplest solution that reveals the truth.

It’s important to remember to let go of your stresses and worries. No matter what happens during the day, as early in the evening as you can, put all your burdens down. Don’t carry them through the night and into the next day with you. If you still feel the weight of yesterday’s stress, it’s a strong sign that it’s time to put the glass down
